Peer4Peer celebrate Mental Health Week at the 2022 Mental Health Street Fair

The spirit of of Mental health awareness will be very much alive on Tuesday October 11 when local organisations and community groups come together to celebrate Mental Health Week with the annual Street Fair.

You can expect to see stalls with free interactive displays and activities for the family-friendly event. You'll also be able to meet supportive mental health professionals with great knowledge and understanding of how to get through mental health challenges and become a 'well being.'

This year the fair will host more than 20 stalls, including the Peer 4 Peer stall, where community members can sit at our table and participate in rock painting. Let your mind ‘be in the moment’ and paint rock art or scribe an affirmation on a rock and while you’re there, you can checkout our resident artist who will be painting “live” at the stall on the day.

Peer 4 Peer will also be providing mental health information about our services. Whether you’re interested in 1:1 Peer Support, Peer Respite, Peer Training, Groups and Activities programs or Queer 4 Queer, come down to the street fair and learn more. Peer Mentors will be on-hand to chat with you and have some fairdinkum street fair fun!

There’ll also be free food and drinks, live music and giveaways at the fair!

When: Tuesday 11 October 10:30AM - 1:00PM Where: The Hub, 60 Dalton Drive, Maroochydore
